 Accompanying Guests |
Glasgow has a wide-range of activities available to entertain accompanying
guests, from the river festival that precedes ECOOP to the museums,
restaurants and shopping. Glasgow also makes a superb base from which
to explore central Scotland and the nearby coast and lochs. We realise
that some partners won't be interested in participating in ECOOP at
all during their time in Glasgow, but in order to integrate the accompanying
partners into the life of ECOOP, we have two forms of participation
over and above simply buying a banquet ticket:
Evening Guest 75 pounds
Entitles the guest to join in the Monday evening event at the Glasgow
Science Centre, the Tuesday evening activities, the Reception on
Wednesday evening and the Banquet on Thursday.
Full Guest 125 pounds
In addition to the Evening Guest benefits, a full Guest is welcome
to join their partner for lunch and coffee breaks each day at ECOOP
and to view the poster displays and demonstrations.
Note that both of these include a ticket for the Banquet on the Thursday
evening. Accompanying guests do not need to purchase their banquet tickets
separately. However, if you have a non-fee-paying guest who would like
to join us for the banquet only, this is definitely allowed - simply
request additional banquet tickets as part of the registration of
the main ECOOP participant.
Guest tickets should be ordered as part of the registration of the main
participant, using the same single form.
